More attention needed to bathroom cleanliness!!! Noise from A/C units is unbearable at night!!!

The location and that were places to eat near.

The A/C didn't take the humidity out of the room so it was cold but humid.

noisy w traffic desk person did not get up from her chair to check me in and was texing while checking us in.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't

The location was ideal for our bowling tournament, and the staff were pleasant and helpful at check-in.

Overall appearance feels outdated,, and cleanliness could use improvement in certain areas. My friend's room had temperature control issues.

Close to road

Dirty, dusty, expensive, Windows leak horrible highway noise

comfy beds and decently clean room.

staff sucked, no extra pillows, blankets available. temp worker but had NO idea how to get us a extra blanket?

The recently remodeled room was a delight, with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Staff were friendly at check-in. Though the breakfast area was clean, more variety would elevate the experience. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was nice and informative.

the smell of chlorine or bleach was a bit much,had to air the room out before going to sleep.

Unexpected comfort amidst chaos

The beds were comfortable, and I loved having a fridge in the room. The location was perfect for our family activities.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning emitted a musty odor, and the TV channels were limited. Some areas of the hotel seemed in need of repair.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to Iowa State University, and Des Moines. I stayed in big room with the hot tub, comfortable bed and shower as expected...

Thoroughly enjoyed the place, had a really nice stay on a long business trip. Had reasonably spacious and well priced room with the hot tub, comfortable bed plus refrigerator, and protected with smoke detectors. A microwave oven and a refrigerator were provided if needed. The location in a fairly nice area was good.

I've stayed at other hotels in ames, but this one was great with its comfy beds and clean, modern rooms. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast area was tidy and had good options to start the day, which i appreciated.

some soundproofing was lacking.

Looked nice at first glance

Never told me that the hot tub was out of order. The frig was dirty and smelled. The tub was disgusting. There was a non-slip "mat" that moved because it was completely black and mildewed underneath.
